We are doing this trek for David Haines who has been a special family friend for most of our adult life. We have watched David gradually slipping away from us as dementia has taken hold of his and Angela's lives.
He is now living in a care home where staff and Angela attend to his every need.
We miss the old David and would like to do something positive to help. The Alzheimer's Society needs to raise money to help people live well with dementia today and for research to find a cure for tomorrow.
