Hi! Thanks for visiting my page!

On 23rd May I will be jumping out of a plane in order to raise money for Thrive Africa, a non-profit charity who work with communities across Africa assisting in their development to provide better future. Please read on to find out more about the project and what I will be doing...

On the 2nd August 2012 I will be taking part in a project with Loughborough University for 4 weeks volunteering with Thrive Africa. The project is based in Ghana and whilst there, along with 23 other volunteers, we hope to get alot done in a short space of time. We are going to be doing things such as building water pumps in villages that have no clean water supply and building bookcases for newly built schools. The project will also include teaching maths, english and science as well as encouraging school attendance through sport and other activities in an orphanage.

I realise I have alot of money to raise (£1000 in total!) however all of this money goes directly towards training, material and resources. None of the money you donate will go towards my flights/visas or any other money I need to get myself out there!
