Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Autism isn't new to me as I am blessed with friends who have children with various forms of Neuro Diversity, Autism being one of them. I am also a firm believer that we all sit somewhere along this spectrum :).

On the 15th Feb 2020 our beautiful granddaughter Alaia ( that's her in the pic) was born and has been blessing us ever since with her incredibleness and uniqueness. Little did we know then that Alaia would bring the world of Neuro Diversity closer to us and what a wonderful learning opportunity this has been.

The challenges that will be faced moving forward are yet to be defined however what is clear is the need for as much awareness, knowledge and support for Neuro Diverse children, their parents and the educational system to give them the best opportunities moving forward.

If by me running, more likely crawling 13.1 miles at the London Landmarks Half Marathon on the 2nd April helps to raise much needed funds for further research and support through the National Autistic Society then bring on the blisters...

a big huge thank you to those of you who have 1- read this and 2- donated...

Big Love

Pip x
