Remembering Mary Hunter

Mary-Jane Pettit is raising money for Thames Hospice
In memory of Mary Hunter
Proudly serving the community of East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire since 1987, we provide specialist palliative & end-of-life care to people facing a terminal illness. We're committed to giving families choices about the care they receive, providing the best support at home & at the Hospice.

Story

The Christmas Season is a time of joy and fellowship, time spent with friends and family. As we reflect on our many blessings, we remember those who have gone before us. In the spirit of giving, many of us choose to remember our loved ones through charitable acts and donations, returning the love we’ve received to our communities.

Here at Pioneer FM, we are remembering the life of Mary Hunter, who lost her life to cancer on December 22, 2020. Known affectionately as one of the original “pioneers,” Mary held our company and its values close to her heart. In the final stages of her battle, Mary and her family were supported by the expert caregivers at Thames Hospice. For over 30 years, Thames Hospice has been providing world-class palliative and end-of-life care and support to people across East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire.

In gratitude for their service, during the holiday season, Pioneer FM will be hosting a £500 raffle for donators to this great cause which will be drawn on the 6th December. Contributions of any amount are appreciated and will make you eligible for the raffle so please leave your name. Thank you for joining us in supporting this amazing organization.

Happy Holidays from the Pioneer FM team!
