Story
Catherine Loadman is currently in training to ride 100 miles through London and the Surrey countryside to raise money for our Charity of the Year 2018, Tapestry.
Tapestry has been around for over 68 years, originally conceived as Havering Older Peoples Welfare Association. HOPWA House opened in 1965. In 1973 they became Age Concern Havering and the Havering based unit became Tapestry in 2014. They have helped over 350,000 people in that time and remain focused on care in the local community to this day.
Tapestry aim to open a sensory room in each of their centres in 2018 and will be building a new sensory garden at their HOPWA House centre in early 2019. These ambitious projects do not come cheap and they are aiming to raise over £90,000 in the next twelve months. Catherine and the team at Pinney Talfourd hope you can help them raise valuable funds towards this.
