Story
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2018, my treatment plan included a combination of chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy. Being diagnosed with cancer and receiving treatment was a difficult time, especially as during this time I lost my mum to Ovarian cancer and also learnt that I was a carrier of the BRCA1 gene, but getting the support from Breast Cancer Now made all the difference! The support from my family and the outlook to see my favorite mountains in Austria in person again soon, kept me going, even through the most difficult times.
So it is time to give back...
I am taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk to help Breast Cancer Now fund their world-class research and life-changing care for anyone affected by breast cancer. By 2030, its estimated that 1.2 million women will be living with the disease. Breast Cancer Now are uniting to make life-saving discoveries and are here to offer expert support to anyone, the whole way through their breast cancer experience. But they cant do it alone. By sponsoring my Pink Ribbon Walk you can help change the lives of men and women and the future of breast cancer. Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
