Story
We are taking part in the Pink Ribbon 20 Mile Walk to help Breast Cancer Now fund their world-class research and life-changing care for anyone affected by breast cancer.
Sally was diagnosed with Breast cancer in June 2022. She said' The decision to take part & help raise valuable funds for Breast Cancer Now was an easy one. The hard part was being diagnosed with breast cancer after finding a lump whilst on holiday. Its not something you think will happen to YOU, but how wrong could I be! Breast Cancer Now has been an invaluable support throughout for myself & many other women & men.
Whilst on this journey I have been supported by the most encouraging, loving friends & family. They have kept me positive & given me the energy to reach the end of my surgery, chemotherapy & radiotherapy . These wonderful ladies have agreed to join me on this 20 mile walk challenge. Also joining the Pink Jiggler Team are some awesome ladies going through the same treatment. From the bottom of my heart I thank everyone
By 2030, its estimated that 1.2 million women will be living with the disease. Breast Cancer Now are uniting to make life-saving discoveries and are here to offer expert support to anyone, the whole way through their breast cancer experience. But they cant do it alone. By sponsoring our Pink Ribbon Walk you can help change the lives of men and women and the future of breast cancer. Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
