Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We, the board of directors at Pilgrims Hospices, have decided to show off some of our secret skills and take on the 2.6 challenge in appreciation for the skilled and compassionate end-of-life care that the wonderful staff at Pilgrims Hospices are still delivering, every day, to some of the most vulnerable people in our community during the current health crisis.
Here's the list of challenges our motley crew will be facing to earn your donation:
- Helen - will tread water for 2.6 minutes
- Wendy - will run 2.6 km
- Jon - will attempt to do keepy uppys for 2.6 minutes
- Andrew - will hold a difficult yoga shoulder stand for 2.6 minutes
- Sue - will take on the dual challenge of hula-hooping for 2.6 minutes and completing 26 skips of a skipping rope
- Debbie - will play football with her family for 26 minutes
Phew, that all sounds exhausting! If you can support the team by donating whatever you are able to Pilgrims Hospices, we'd be incredibly grateful.
It is estimated that the UK charity sector will lose £4 billion in income as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. This impacts all sectors of society - from children to the elderly - as well as the vital work of Pilgrims Hospices who are #StillHereStillCaring for patients and families who need us during these challenging times.
