Story
**NEWSFLASH:**: Operation complete! From capsize crew extraordinaire in Jan to 23hrs 58mins for 125 miles today (with zero capsizes but several blisters). Tom and Piers are now broken, but pretty ecstatic nevertheless.
Serious thanks to the Team Manager (Ali Fowler) and her support gang of Tony Fowler, Lu Fowler, Steve Potthurst, James Larke, Sean Geer and Pasta Chef Adam Hare, without whom this would not have been possible.
Thanks also to Southampton Canoe Club, especially Caro and Fred for teaching us 'the art'.

OK, so we look like a badly coordinated octopus, but that's not putting us off....
Whilst you are all tucking into nice chocolate eggs this Easter, we'll be kayaking the 125 miles from Devizes to Westminster. That's over 90,000 PADDLE STROKES each!!
We're raising money for UNICEF, so please decide on your donation and then double it. There are 2 in this canoe!! We have doubled our effort, doubled our commitment and training and we're giving it all we can, we'd love it if you did too.
Alternatively, if the credit crunch has crunched then please come and support us in other ways! Bring pasta, honey sandwiches and possibly vaseline .....
The fun starts on Saturday 11th April at 07.45 (Timings are approximate)
Starting Devizes at 0745
Through, Newbury, to Cookham for about 1900
Maidenhead for 2100
Midnight will see us in the Weybridge area
On Sunday 12th April, we're aiming for Teddington by 0500....
And then on down the tidal Thames, via Putney and Wandsworth in the early morning
Finishing at Westminster by about 0700 on Sunday 12th... ready for some chocolate!
PLEASE SUPPORT US, WHATEVER WAY YOU CAN... THANKS!
