The Gurkha Welfare Trust is the leading Gurkha charity. We provide financial, medical and community aid to relieve poverty and distress among retired Gurkha soldiers, their families and their wider communities.

Story

The Gurkha Welfare Trust ensures that Gurkha veterans, their widows and their wider communities are able to live with dignity in Nepal, through the provision of financial, medical and community aid.  Following the cancellation of Trailwalker 2018 we have re-formed and, as a team, will continue to raise funds for the Trust, adding to the money very generously donated in 2018.  The total sum raised will be used to the fund the construction and equipping of a library at Shree Bhawani Higher Secondary School in Manbu, Gorkha District, Nepal.
