Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

I lost my beautiful mum, Julie Cooper, to Myeloma (cancer of the bone marrow) in November 2020. If you ever had the pleasure and privilege of knowing her, you will have known how kind, generous  and thoughtful she was. Throughout the 3 years of treatment and hospital admissions, she always remained positive and extremely brave.

My mum was a member of the Myeloma support group in Norwich. She enjoyed meeting up with others members and sharing stories. The group guided my mum into accessing other services, including the Big C and being fitted for a wig when she lost her hair.

I would like to celebrate my mums upcoming birthday by giving something back by raising some money for Myeloma UK so that they can continue to support patients and their families, as well as continue with important research projects. I will also be sending my hair to the Little Princess Trust, where it will be made into a wig for a young person. Please help to support this charity by donating some money in my mums memory.
