Endurance Life Gower Marathon · 14 November 2020

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Just to round out the fabulous year that is 2020, I've decided to run a very hilly, very long (and potentially very wet) marathon in November. This has absolutely nothing to do with turning 30.

It's 27.5 miles of trail running along the coast, with 3346 feet of ascent....which is lots! I'm pretty nervous about doing it, but feel better because I'm fundraising for Parkinson's UK who are the bee's knees.

My dad has lived with Parkinson's since I was 17 and myself and all my family feel so strongly about supporting the amazing work of Parkinson's UK.

So if you have a spare penny or a pound I'd be so grateful for it!

I'll be running the distance even if the endurance life event doesn't take place because of Covid 19 so nothing can stop me!
