Story
My 5 year old daughter Phoebe was diagnosed with Fanconi Anaemia in March 2018. FA is a rare genetic disease that severely impacts those affected, causing bone marrow failure, leukaemia and cancer from a much earlier age.
Many children with FA do not live past childhood and those who do have an average life expectancy of around 30 years old. To date there is no cure.
However with funding the care and patient outlook have improved greatly.
I am raising money to support the research and care for Fanconi Anaemia patients to give hope to all families affected that one day a cure may be found to this awful disease.
Three wonderful ladies Sarah, Alex & Emma will be taking part in the "Dalton 5 Mile run" on 6th June in support of Phoebe and all money raised will be donated to Fanconi Hope.
