Story
The Royal Marsden is an organisation very close to our hearts. When Mum was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2019, part of her treatment took place in the Oak Ward. Through the first Covid lockdown she visited The Marsden daily to have radiotherapy, and couldn't speak highly enough of everyone who helped her. Unfortunately, when the cancer continued growing and needed more treatment, Mum went back to The Marsden to trial a new drug. Again, the staff were so supportive to both her and us.
It was Mum's wishes before she passed away, to raise money for The Marsden, to fund for new cancer treatment research.
My friends and I are running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of Chrissie Blunt, Mum. I am sure she will be with us every step of the way.
Thank you so much in advance for your support and sponsorship.
