Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

I’ve decided to run 2 marathons in 4 weeks because who doesn’t love a challenge! Through this I’m hoping to raise £524 which is 10 times the distance I’ll be running (52.4 miles).

I’ll be running the Manchester Marathon on April 14th and 4 weeks later I’ll be running the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon on the 12th of May.

My lovely Grandma was affected by Parkinson's and she is my inspiration for this mission, I will be running both in memory of her. 125,000 are affected in the UK alone, hence the research they do being vital.

Any donations would mean the world to me, and means I have to run! Parkinson’s UK are doing vital research to help those diagnosed and provide support to those diagnosed and their family members. This is a charity very near and dear to me and the Barton family.
