We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

This April I am fulfilling a long term ambition by running the London Marathon, I expect it to be the most challenging and rewarding thing I've ever done and cannot wait!

I am raising money for Bloodwise, who are Dalcour Maclaren's charity partner this year, and if you can help to contribute to the £25,000 target for 2019 then I would be very grateful. Bloodwise fund research to improve treatment and care for people living with all types of blood cancer, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Blood cancer is the fifth most common cancer in the UK and while huge progress has been made in improving treatment it is still the third biggest cause of UK cancer deaths – taking more lives each year than breast or prostate cancer. Even for those who survive, the long-term effects of treatment can be devastating.
