Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Jumping out of a plane is not something I'd considered until very recently. I've travelled a fair bit but generally prefer the view from the inside of an aircraft. There are undoubtedly easier and I'm sure less risky ways to raise money and awareness for a charitable cause, but sometimes it's good to stretch yourself and try something a little different...I think...
I came into contact with the Hospice of St. Francis at a time when my mother was very ill. Sadly, she passed away in 2018, and though it was a difficult time for everyone, the care provided by the Hospice was truly exceptional and made such a difference. It also really opened my eyes to the breadth of support such a wonderful organisation can offer.
The difficulty is that in most cases, charities receive little or no public funding and it's largely left to the generosity of people like you to keep things going. To give you an idea of the difference a donation can make, here are a few examples:
Thanks again for visiting my page. If you are able to make a donation - it's really appreciated. In return I'll try my best to say thank you with a smile on my face as I'm hurtling towards the ground at about 120mph!
If you do make a donation, can I request that you publish your name and not leave it anonymous? My employer will match any donations made as long as the name of the contributor is visible.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
