#TeamNASS are taking part in the London Marathon to help transform the diagnosis, treatment and care of people with axial SpA and help more people live well with the condition sooner.

Story

I am taking on the London Marathon to raise funds for the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society, a cause that's close to my heart. My partner suffers from Axial Spondyloarthritis, an invisible chronic illness that affects them every day. Through the support, advice, and valuable information provided by NASS, we have been able to make informed decisions on treatment and lifestyle choices to manage symptoms.

Unfortunately, many people face a delay in diagnosis of up to 8.5 years. NASS is working hard to reduce this delay and fund vital research. This is why I'm taking on the challenge of running the marathon, despite never having run further than 10k before. It's a real challenge for me, but I'm inspired and motivated to complete it and make a difference for those affected by this condition.

Please consider supporting me in this marathon and helping to spread awareness for this important cause. Together, let's beat axial SpA!
