After nearly eight years living with Early Onset Dementia, Mom sadly passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 2nd 2017 at the untimely age of 61. This came as a massive shock to us all as we expected more time with her. Sadly this wasn't to be and she went to join her dear husband and our Dad, 'Martin'. Although deeply saddened we take some small comfort that she went without any pain and that they are together again, hopefully 'a little bit better'. In tribute to our Mom we have set up this page to accept donations for Alzheimer's Research, in recognition of the work they do in helping to find a cure for this life altering disease.

As was the plan, Dad wanted to lay to rest with Mom in natural woodland so there will be no formal interment. We recognise that people may want to buy flowers but instead we ask you to donate that money to help fund research into a cure. That, we think, would be a touching tribute to Mom and a legacy she can leave behind. We miss you terribly Mom but are grateful you were ours. Xx

Mom's cremation ceremony will be held at Redditch Crematorium on Thursday 19th January at 12:30:

Following the service, the wake will be held at:

Worcestershire,
B98 9BJ.

We would dearly like to celebrate Mom's life and her contribution so we would ask that you wear smart (but colourful) clothes that would convey Mom's vibrant personality and sunny disposition. Of course, if you wish, please feel free to wear traditional attire.
