National Three Peaks Challenge · 4 June 2009

Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. On 28th July 2009 myself and a friend will be attempting to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge - climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales respectively within 24 hours, including driving between them! I have chosen to support Diabetes UK, and my friend John will be raising money for Rainford Cricket Club.

Diabetes UK is the largest organisation in the UK working for people with diabetes, funding research, campaigning and helping people live with the condition. They work for people with diabetes, their carers, family and friends, and represent the interests of all people with diabetes by lobbying the government for better standards of care and the best quality of life. Diabetes UK's mission is to improve the lives of people with diabetes and to work towards a future without diabetes.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Diabetes UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please dig deep and give what you can!
