Story
On the 9th May 2020 myself and James met our beautiful baby Luna. 3 days later our perfect little girl left us! 6 weeks on, I’ve gone back to running and in October myself and Michelle Graham are arranging our own half marathon in honour of Luna, Martha, Skye, and many like them who have fought against the odd. Some have won and some have lost, but we honour them by continuing to raise money for the Martha's Dancing Heart appeal!
I am writing this to ask you if you would like to join us or support us in any way, and if that not your thing, to tell you that you never need to doubt yourself or your talents! At times when you don’t believe that your worth it and you’ve lost hope, know that I believe in you and that Luna believes in you! One of my friends told me yesturday that she has spent so long doubting herself and her music! Luna has taught me, life is too short and too precious! We owe it to her to fill the world with more music and more joy! So if you ever think you can’t, look up at the moon, and my baby will show you that the world is good and you are loved!
I got to carry Luna for 9 months, and hold her for nearly 3 days! I knew my daughter and she was good! She has given me the strength to believe in myself and strive to make the world a better place!
2020 has served us all up a whole lot of lemons! So as Beyoncé taught us, when life gives you lemons, write the most poignant album of you career!
Whatever you have been through, I am always here for you as you are there for me! As things start to go back to ‘normal’ let’s strive to make it better! Let’s laugh more and sing more! Let’s never forget the tragedies of the last few months, and let’s remember those we have lost in the best possible way! Thank you all for your love and support! We love you with all our heart!
