Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This is my third year without breast cancer since my two operations in 2010. Once again I am asking you to support Cancerkin who support me and hundreds of other breast cancer patients. We all had a great day on the Cancerkin Hyde Park Walk  on Sunday 9 June despite the winter weather! It's not too late to donate. Please help me reach my target.

When I completed my breast cancer surgery in August 2010 I was told that at my age with my kind of tumour and with no treatment I had a 77% chance of surviving between 5 and 10 years. In fact there was no treatment which would have significantly improved my survival chances. So here I am with 3 years gone and fighting fit, hoping I am one of the 77%.

Meanwhile Cancerkin continues its excellent work supporting women who have just been diagnosed, are in shock and need lots of TLC, or who are going through the travails of chemo or radiotherapy. I work a day a week at Cancerkin and I see for myself what so many say - “Cancerkin is brilliant". So please do support me now I have completed the Hyde Park Walk. I felt a wonderful sense of freedom with my new hips and the spring in the step in that comes from being one of the 77%.
