I’m raising funds for the Ronald McDonald House Bristol and The Wallace & Gromit Grand Appeal, by completing various fundraising challenges throughout 2014.

My first challenge will be ‘Rock Solid’ at Escot Park. Escot Park is a serious obstacle racing playground. The 10k race incorporates a few well-placed hills with extreme levels of mud involved. There are also 7 water features en route.

The second challenge will be a Skydive. Date TBC

 And the final challenge will be The Royal Marines Commando Challenge. An annual opportunity to undertake the same training course used daily by the UK’s Royal Marines.  

All funds raised will go to two amazing charities. I have had to set up two pages as Justgiving won’t allow two charities on one page. So please visit both pages.

Ronald McDonald House, Bristol is an independent charity which provides Home from Home accommodation, free of charge, to the families of critically ill children receiving care at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children

Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal

The Bristol Royal Hospital for Children is a world-class centre of excellence – one of just seven children’s hospitals in the UK equipped and able to offer specialist treatment and lifesaving care to over 100,000 sick and critically ill babies and children every year.

 

Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal was established in 1995 and has since raised over £21 million to support a wide range of life-saving medical equipment, family accommodation, and patient comforts, along with a programme of arts, music, education and play facilities in the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

 

The Grand Appeal is entirely independent from the NHS and receives no statutory funding, relying entirely on the generous support of the local community, businesses, grant-making trusts and other philanthropic organisations and individuals. 

 

Bristol Children’s Hospital provides world-class care to patients from all over the South West and South Wales, and it is only thanks to the many donors and fundraisers that we are able to continue a wide programme of investment in the Bristol Children’s Hospital.
