I am running the Lake Windermere Marathon on Sunday 21st May 2017, in memory of Charlotte Horrillo, who passed away on July 15th 2012 after battling a very rare cancer for nearly four years. As you can tell by the picture, Charlotte meant a lot to me and everyone who was lucky enough to know her. If you needed to someone to talk to or throw some interesting shapes with, then Charlotte was your girl.  Her strength through her treatment while at uni was astonishing. She will always be an immense inspiration and a friend I will always miss.

The Christie is a Manchester based hospital which specialises and cares for so many patients and families suffering with cancer, and is where Charlotte had much of her treatment.
