Story
Hey everyone, so the reason behind me doing the sponsored sky dive is with my eldest daughter Natalie is to raise money for Ronald McDonald house Birmingham. To those of you that don’t already know in November 2019 my youngest daughter Dani & her partner Jack welcomed their beautiful baby boy Tommie into the world. Tommie didn’t have the best start to his little life. When Dani had her 12 week scan they found out that there baby boy had been diagnosed with gastrochisis which unfortunately when he was born turned into short bowel syndrome resulting in many operations lots of ups and downs and a long 6 months stay at Birmingham Childrens Hospital which were brilliant and gave him the best care. For Dani & Jack this was a very scary and stressful time but was made a lot easier by being able to stay in the Ronald McDonald house completely free of charge for the whole 6 months which was situated next to the hospital so they could be close to their precious boy day and night. Ronald McDonald provided a home from home for Dani & Jack with a room, cooking facilities, washing facilities and very kind supportive staff to help at anytime. Ronald McDonald are charity based and rely on donations to help provide such a wonderful service to families with hospitalised poorly children so please help us raise as much money as we possibly can for this amazing charity that hold a special place in our hearts ❤️
At Ronald McDonald House Charities they provide free 'home away from home' accommodation at specialist children's hospitals across the UK, enabling families to stay close to their child and maintain a degree of normal family life. They're still here there for families; even amidst a global pandemic, childhood illnesses and accidents haven't stopped. It is thanks to supporters taking on events like their skydiving weekend that they can continue to be there for families. Please help them to keep more families with their sick children by donating and supporting their 2022 Skydive Weekend .
