Lands End to John O Groats · 27 August 2019

We provide specialist palliative care to comfort patients and their families

Story

So having started cycling again a few years ago, I've really caught the bug for it....

I wanted to do something for Nightingale House as they do fantastic work supporting people from the local community who really need the help....

So why not put those two things together? And what better way than tackling the iconic UK cycle challenge of Lands End to John O'Groats?

So thanks to my supporting family, in August I'll attempt to cycle around 1000 miles over 12 consecutive days, armed with steely determination and an industrial sized tub of sudocrem!

You're support will keep me going on the long days and ensure my legs keep turning.....

For over 20 years staff here at Nightingale House Hospice have created an environment that gives patients and their loved ones quality time to spend together. Not having to worry about the care a loved one receives, knowing they are in safe hands means every second spent together is dignified and peaceful. Without support such as yours, our specialist palliative care units wouldn’t be able to deliver such high standards.
