Story
If you know me, you might know...
- I love running!
- I like raising money for charity!
- I said I wouldn't do another marathon unless it was London...
- I said I'd lay off doing fundraising for a while to give people a break, and I'd do it again when the time was right and for a cause that was really important to me
- My old mum has had dementia for a while now
... so I'm doing the London Marathon. I'm running for Dementia UK and I'm running for my mum, my family, and for everyone everywhere affected by dementia. Dementia UK is a truly awesome charity that provides specialist dementia nurses, called Admiral nurses, for people who need them.
I'm asking you to help me out so I can reach my target. I've done 2 marathons before, and the last one I did was almost 9 years ago. 9 years! Marathons hurt. Training hurts. Put wings on my trainers by making a donation if you can, or maybe just sharing if you can, or both!
The big day is April 23rd. I came to this party late - I'm following a 12 week plan. It's going to be... emotional.
Every penny helps. Thanks for reading.
