Story
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Some of you will know that my son Rory was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia back in 2011. After a long period of treatment, he made a recovery and remains in remission today. As a family, we have tried to help various cancer charities over the years and this year, its my turn to step forward to try to raise funds to assist the work of Macmillan Cancer Support. Myself and a number of friends are aiming to complete the Macmillan Mighty Hike which involves walking 26 miles in one day through the Lake District - hopefully, no blisters this time!
Macmillan Cancer Support is here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. So whatever cancer throws your way, they’re right right there with you. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
