Phil and Julie set up their Family Fund for their son Harrison. They want to raise awareness and help fund research into finding a cure for Becker muscular dystrophy (BMD).

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Harrison was diagnosed with Becker Muscular Dystrophy in November 2015.  It was devastating news which we are all still coming to terms with.  Becker Muscular Dystrophy is a genetic muscle wasting disease of which there is currently no cure.

Harrison is now at a stage where he cannot climb a set of stairs and struggles to lift himself off the floor.

We have had fantastic support since setting up our family fund and raised over £60,000.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will mean everything to myself and my family.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
