The Sleep Out is about recognising, not replicating, what it's like to sleep rough during the winter months. . 

I took part last November and also joined Tim Ringsdore  in July this year whey we spent a rather wet night sleeping outside Trinity Parish Hall as pet of Tim’s 12 Parish Sleep Out.

All  I will have with me is a sleeping bag, a pillow, a piece of cardboard to sleep on and layers of warm clothes.  Having just given up Sea swimming due to the drop in temperature, I'm trying not to think about how cold and uncomfortable the concrete floor will be.

I don"t anticipate a comfortable night, but it will, be a reminder of what it's like not to have a roof over your head.
