The RoadPeace Challenge: a collaboration between RoadPeace, the national charity for crash victims, police forces & emergency services with the aim to reduce road danger, save lives & raise £1,000 000 to fund vital support services for crash victims

Story

On 17 June 2022 I'm cycling the 100 hilly miles of the Aberdovey Bike Ride, starting in Wolverhampton and finishing at the North Wales coast.

This is my fundraising page in support of the Andy Cox Challenge, 2022.

In May Detective Chief Superintendent Andy Cox walked, ran and cycled 30 miles a day for 7 days in support of RoadPeace, the National Charity for Road Crash Victims.

Each day Andy started at a Police Station and travelled to people affected by road death and injury, who told their stories and shed light on the 5 people killed every day on our roads.

I was delighted to join Andy on his final day of riding, which ended at the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas Staffordshire. I'd be grateful if you could add to his achievement by donating through this page.

RoadPeace is the national charity for road crash victims. We provide practical and emotional support to victims through a helpline, befriender network, and information guides on the legal procedures that follow a crash. RoadPeace also campaigns for justice for victims and road danger reduction policies that champion the needs of vulnerable road users. RoadPeace won the Guardian Charity Award winners in 2008. Help us make the world a safer and fairer place.
