Story
Welcome to my Abseil Challenge page. I am taking part in this challenge to support the patients, families and staff across Children's Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres. As you can see from the video our little boy Leigh was diagnosed with two holes in his heart when he was just 8 weeks old. He was very sick as a baby and spent a lot of time in hospital. He had open heart surgery at 6 months old and this was life changing for Leigh and our family. It has helped Leigh to become the happy boy he is today. Leigh sill has some ongoing health issues so we continue to attend Crumlin regularly where the expert doctors, nurses and specialists continue to take great care of Leigh.
Each and every day across CHI hospitals and urgent care centres in Connolly, Crumlin, Tallaght and Temple Street, sick children and their worried parents are coming through the doors in need of world-class paediatric care and treatment. Join me in supporting this essential, urgent and life-saving work and make a real and lasting difference in the lives of sick children. Please donate what you can to help give every sick child every chance, to create a child-centred, home-from-home environment for patients in hospital and for to ensure that children continue to have access to the very best facilities, services and equipment when they need it most. This is the power of your support.
