I started running about 4 years ago and recently completed The Great South Run which was a 10 mile event. My next milestone distance to tackle is a half marathon and I am keen to raise money for charity.. I chose Movember as a charity to support for a number of reasons, they do really important work for men’s mental health and testicular cancer. This is pertinent to me as my Grandad died of testicular cancer in his 30s leaving my Granny raising my mum and aunt at 7 years and 10 months old respectively. I obviously never got to meet my grandad but know we would’ve been close.
