2020 has been a very difficult year for everybody. Sadly my Bumpy Fred Bennett passed away after suffering from Alzheimers at the end of November.  It has been incredibly tough for the whole family.

I have missed competing in events such as sprint distance triathlons this year so I have decided to set my sights on something a lot longer and more adventurous and hopefully raise some money for a great charity along the way. 

On the 12th of September 2021 I will be swimming 1.2 miles in a lake, cycling 56 miles and then running a half-marathon one after the other, and hopefully managing it in under 6 hours. There is certainly going to be a lot of training to do in the lead up to this event!
