Philip, Tracey & Rebecca Ambrose and Laurie Taylor are running the Great North Run on 10/09/23 as 'Team Douglas' to raise funds for Alzheimer's Research UK.

Douglas Ambrose lived his life always as a true gentleman. He was such a very special Husband, Dad, Father in Law, and Grandad to all his family.  He touched the lives of his dear friends and all the people that were fortunate enough to get to know Douglas and to be part of his life.

Douglas had Alzheimer's disease. He passed away peacefully in January 2023, aged 87.  

We want to run in his honour knowing that your kind and generous donations will help Alzheimer's Research UK strive to unlock the key to finding a cure to help those with Alzheimer's both now and into the future.
