Story
Hello everybody, on April 26th i ran the London Marathon, my first marathon and had a great day. Although it was physically exhausting it was an amazing experience and the support from the crowds which lined it from begin to end was incredible, while talking about support id like to thank my family and girlfriend for their support and encouragement on the day and leading up to the event.
I ran the 26.2 miles in 3 hours 59 minutes and 06 seconds and came roughly 8429 out of over 34000 people
Thanks very much to everyone that has sponsored me, I am still collecting money from people so havent got a final amount raised yet but will keep this site updated.
I am fundraising for The Childrens Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF). CLDF is a charity that means alot to me and is very close to my heart as my sister died from liver disease four years ago. It would be a great achievement to raise a large sum for this charity and i hope you will help me in doing so.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Children's Liver Disease Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now! Many Thanks Phil.
