Lisa was diagnosed with bowel cancer in June 2012.  Despite surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, her cancer has spread and cannot be cured - she is now receiving palliative chemotherapy.

Lisa is a keen runner, and the Balmoral 10k was the first competitive event she ever ran in back in 2002.  We will be hoping to enjoy the beautiful run this year with the knowledge that we have made a significant contribution to the Friends of Anchor.  Our daughter Molly will be returning from her year abroad in Chamonix to run her first ever 10k with us, and friends and family will be there to cheer us on.

Lisa is also a model in Friends of Anchor's "Courage on the Catwalk" event on 9th and 10th May for which she will have her own just-giving page.
