On 21st September last year Phil / Dad passed away after a fight with cancer - he had lived a fulfilled life but had so much more he had planned to do in his retirement.  During his final weeks he received amazing care from Phyllis Tuckwell and therefore wanted to raise some money to allow them to continue their amazing work.

Never missing an opportunity to explore with the bike we therefore decided to ride to the Alps. About 700 miles and over 30,000 feet of climbing, it will be done carrying our own kit, over 8 days.

Starting in Farnham, the first leg will be to Poole for the ferry to St. Malo.  When in France the Route follows 2 (and a bit) of this years Tour de France stages.  The final leg will include a climb up the Col du Colombier, before heading up to Les Gets.
