Research is the way we develop new treatments, improve care and optimise the patient experience in the A&E department. The research we conduct is applicable to all A&E patients nationally. Its our aim in the Emergency Department research unit to give all patients the opportunity to be involved in the research process. The results of our research will be applied nationally to optomise treatment for all patients. To achieve this we need to support our researchers and our research nurse team to deliver our goal. Last year we we're the highest recruiting emergency department in the country with over 1000 patients who wished to entered into 16 different clinical trials. There is always lots to do and for this we need financial help to deliver even more. Please support us on our mission to continually improve patient care through research
