Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm cycling 54 miles 'Round the Harbours', to support the work of the MS Society.
More than 130,000 people in the UK live with multiple sclerosis, including my wife who was diagnosed with relapsing remitting MS in 2020.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable condition that affects your brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating that protects your nerves (myelin) is damaged. This causes a range of symptoms like blurred vision and problems with how we move, think and feel.
Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help you to manage the condition and its symptoms. The MS Society is here to help everyone live well with MS.
Please do consider donating if you can, and help fund the MS Society continuing their ground-breaking research into new potential treatments, and their support for people living with MS.
Every year they reach thousands of people with help and support through their MS Helpline and local groups. They campaign on the issues that matter most to the MS community. And they invest in ground-breaking research to stop MS in its tracks.
Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
