Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I had an absolutely brilliant day participating in the event surrounded by all those thousands and thousands of fellow runers 'putting themselves through it' for their causes.  The atmosphere was just brilliant, not only from the buzz of the fellow runners but from the sheer noise and enthusiasm of the crowds that pack both sides of the streets.  Running through full blast MCs and DJ sets, brass bands and choirs on the route adds to the uniqueness of the London Marathon - amazing! I think I got a bit carried away with it all and managed a race time of a fraction over 4 hours and 15 minutes, which was half an hour quicker than I've ever done it before and 3/4hr quicker than the first one I did back in my thirties - there's life in the old dog yet!!

Thank you so much for donating if you did.  If you haven't yet, you can still kindly support this great cause with a donation.  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
