Ukraine has faced almost eight years of conflict. With recent events, we want to be there for everyone who needs us

Story

Hello, like so many of us, I'm saddened, appalled and scared by the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.

So, can we as a community of readers, raise some money to help those in need?

At the moment I'm writing my next children's novel, ironically set during WW2. Although there is little I can offer, I'd like to suggest the three prizes below, that I hope are enticing and a bit special. Everyone who donates ANY amount, no matter how small, will be entered into a draw to win one of the following...

1. To have the novel dedicated to you, or to a child you love. If you're a teacher and would like the book dedicated to your class, that's also no problem.

2. To have a character appear in the book that is named after you, or a child you love. It won't be a major character, but I will do my best to describe them so it feels special.

3. A virtual author event for a school in the UK. This would be for children from years 5 to 8.

Please can you help me reach this target? I know money is tight for everyone right now, but I hope we can make a difference to people who need it. Thanks, Phil x
