The Worcestershire Ambassadors Amazing Adventurers are walking 50k in a day, along the Thames Path from Runnymeade to Henley on Thames, to raise £50k to support St Richards Hospice Build 2020 appeal.

Story

In 2017 Alison Hewitt our beloved colleague and first member of the Handelsbanken Team in Worcester and Derek Fradgley Worcestershire Ambassador and our first customer both bravely lost battles against cancer.

They were similar in lots of ways putting others ahead of themselves, hard working, caring, thoughtful successful people. Both were mischievous individuals with a wicked sense of humour and enjoyed life to the full. They were also both big supporters of St Richards Hospice.

Ian Williams, Robin Mayo, Ben Griffiths, Jo Watkins, Chris Orr and myself Phil Dutton will be taking on the Thames Path Challenge in their memory.

This will prove to be a challenging day for us though we hope rewarding in that it will provide us with some time for reflection as well as a sense of achievement.

Any support you can provide will be very much appreciated and will go towards ensuring the Build 2020 campaign for St Richards will result in more people receiving the end of life care they deserve.
