My name is Phil Base 

I am just a regular chubby bloke trying to make a difference by participating in the walk1000miles.co.uk challenge. I have chosen to do this walk for a local charity. The charity I have chosen to raise much-needed funds for Solihull Moors Foundation. I really believe in what the charity is trying to achieve, let's raise them some funds so they can continue their great work in the community.

I enjoy walking and took on the Walk 1000 miles as a personal challenge, it is a lot harder than you think! My aim Feb -June is to get in 4-8 miles walk per day to make it a lot easier later in the year. I am part of a team that runs the Q-Walks group, feel free to join us:
