We offer dignified wellbeing support to refugees, as they rebuild their lives.

Story

We are pleased to present our latest fundraising activity that anyone can get involved in, at their own time, and with their friends and family in a lockdown friendly way.

Inspired by Come Dine with Me, the Share Your Table fundraising activity invites you to choose 3 other households in a recipe exchange / cook off. Each household cooks the recipes that their competitors have chosen and rates the recipes on Uniqueness / Ease and Tastiness. You choose your team / competitors / time frame / prize.

It is a great activity that anyone can get involved in, and we encourage you to post/share to your network to get as many people involved and raise as much money as we can for Refugee Support. As we gear up for World Kindness Day as well as American Thanksgiving, it’s a great way to bring people together, explore some new culinary treasures and support an incredible cause.

The suggested donation of £10 will pay for a Dignity Centre member to access all the vital services it offers in Nicosia for one week. Refugee Support are aiming to raise £12,000 and we want to do what we can to help them do that!  It means the Dignity Centre can support its 300 regular visitors for 1 month. Of course, we welcome donations of any amount. You can also check out their shop, Refumade as a great way to show support and bag some beautiful goodies for yourself or as gifts (tis the season now after all!)

Across Europe, people on the move face an increasingly hostile environment, often after a traumatic journey. Refugee Support's pioneering Dignity Centres provide a safe, welcoming space where people on the move can choose food and hygiene items, just like a normal shopping experience.
