Story
Hello! My name is Helen but some people may know me as Petit Mom. I'm a parent blogger with a passion for cloth nappies and buggies. So to bring one of my passions together with helping a fellow blogger who sadly lost her child to SIDS this year I've decided to do a sponsored buggy walk of 5K (3 miles) at Walsall Arboretum.
SIDS is short of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and we don't really know why exactly it happens but we have ways to help prevent it but sadly no matter what we parents do for our children SIDS may just take them from us.
Matilda Mae was only 9 months old and left a mother, father and two siblings behind. She's a star in the sky now and will always be remembered and Lullaby Trust do what they can to help bereaving families through a difficult time but can only do this with the help of donations from people like you and I.
You can read about Matilda Mae and the night her mother found her forever sleeping: http://www.edspire.co.uk/year_2013/02/04/dear-matilda-mae-the-night-we-found-you-sleeping/
I'm not going to ask for much but if you could just give even £1 (remember you can gift aid if you're a UK Taxpayer) that money will go to helping a family whose lost a baby in their sleep. Thank you for reading.
