We provide specialist care for the people of Oxfordshire who are at the end of their lives and support their families, friends and carers. We strive to provide the best possible quality of life for our patients and to make every precious moment count.

Story

Throughout January 2023 I will be attempting to cycle 1000 km in aid of Sobell House Hospice in memory of our dear friend Debbie.

Debbie sadly passed away in November 2022; as she neared the end of her journey she was cared for with love and compassion by the nurses from Sobell House.  I am therefore, dedicating this challenge to Debbie and the Snowdon family.

By raising money for Sobell House together we can help the hospice continue to offer their high standard of care to those in need.

I am a 58 year old man, who should probably know better! I am not as fit as I was, which I am sure my knees will remind me daily but I am determined to give it my best shot and complete the challenge for such a worthy cause.

I will be riding a minimum of 35 km a day, in all weathers – if too inclement I will use our indoor trainer for safety.

I am hoping to raise as much as I can - so anything you can spare would certainly help to motivate me, all donations will be gratefully received.
