While I shuffled round New York, London, Paris, Munich, (I know, the song, right?) and Edinburgh, you lot were terrific, raising over £6,000 for The Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and Cancer Research UK.

But time marches on and, I'll be honest, I'm getting slower, to the extent that most people now can't tell whether I'm running on the spot or going backwards.

So Chicago will be my 6th & final marathon and I'd like to ask for your generosity, one last time.......

A very good friend of mine, Jojo Tobbell, has been doing sterling work in Uganda & Kenya, for the Xavier Project, helping bring education, hope and a future to thousands of refugees.
