I shall be 60 on 25 Aug and retiring after 20 years in the Prison Service. Having become involved with Rossendale Hospioce during my year as Mayor of Rossendale and realised what a wonderful job they do. In recognition I have decided to launch myself into retirement by doing a sponsored sky dive on Sept 6th to help raise funds towards the half million pounds a year they need to raise and thank you in advance for your generosity.
