Story

In case anyone missed my previous post, I am running the Paris marathon in memory of Roy Pitcher for the Royal Marsden cancer charity. Please support me if you can!! Thanks

Roy and I have been friends for the past 17 years. We trained together at Ernst & Young and both went to Warwick Uni. We also learnt to surf together. A few years ago, Roy had a troublsome mole which was cancerous and was removed. Unfortunately, although initially all seemed well, the cancer spread agressively and Roy's life was cruelly cut short. He was very active with family and work right up to the end and he conceived of a charitable initiative to support the amazing organisations which he an his family relied so heavily on during his illness.

I decided to raise money in memory of Roy the only way I know how - by running (call me Forest!). The Royal Marsden supports people in the UK with all types of cancer and is a great charity which needs support to keep going. If you knew Roy or have been personally touched by cancer please sponsor me and support this fantastic charity.

If you fancy a weekend in Paris this Springtime, I will be there with Alex,  Mungo, Lulu, Milly, Kari, Lilly and others and it is looking like being a lot of fun.

Thanks for your support!!!
